Pink Warrior Foundation

The Pink Warrior movement began in late 2006 with its focus on cancer research as Kelly Gatzke - supported his wife Fiona McGarry-Gatzke as she battled an aggressive form at a young age. This couple focused on fundraising for a cure and at these events they met many survivors and care givers who begged them to take on “All Cancer” instead of just breast cancer.

With this in mind Pink Warrior expanded their focus and now fundraise funds and awareness for the battle against all types of cancer. The Pink Warrior Foundation was born from the Pink Warrior Movement when this young couple turned their fear and frustration into a serious fight for cure for cancer. Three short years later they have raised over $100,000.00. Their message and products now reach around the world as the progress made with cancer research will also.

Pink Warrior began in late 2006 with the goal of raising $1000 selling jewelry that the founder’s wife designed and made as part of therapy for the nerve damage sustained from months of very harsh but necessary chemotherapy treatments. Their retail website Pink Warrior.com continues to sell the jewelry line that started the movement plus many more items including calendars, inspirational poetry, cd’s apparel and much more. Pink Warrior.com donates a minimum of $5.00 from each item sold to the Pink Warrior Foundation for Cancer Research. Any other profits are either donated or reinvested in to company to expand and produce more funds for donations.

Pink Warrior Classic Fundraiser Golf Tournament for Cancer Research began August 2008. This annual event draws golfers of all experience levels from all across the prairies.
